Conclusion

For the past year, there are some things I'm not proud of and some that I'm proud that I've made it this far. I couldn't have done it without the help of my parents and the motivation to continue trusting the Lord. Here are some of the things...

Good

• friends have I come upon to know that I had such a wonderful time.
• celebrated awards nite at the curve with friends; had a great time
• ended the last of school year with friends and with dinner and tons of photos!
• went to my very first mission trip in Perak with friends of whom became closer
• was appointed netball co-captain and CAPTAIN.
• got to play the role of GA (goal attack). a very pressurizing role in the whole of netball
• got a lot of gifts which I liked; Christmas too. got myself some really cool things this year.
• made some weird friends along the way.
  
• sms-ing became a regular thing nowadays
• have been spending time with family more often these days.
  

Bad

• didn't get a chance to go out during the December holidays
• think i just lost a friend in touch
• someone died. why did she have to die. partially thank you that she's gone, and the other half has pity on her. lives alone somemore.
• got pushed a lot in work till I almost had trouble balancing between my homework and other priorities.
• horrible birthday dinner. someone had ruined it. but other family birthday dinners were alright.
  
• spent too much on sms =P
• been in a greedy mood lately.
  

Now, why are there more good things I can think of than BAD things??? =P

December

Ever since the holidays ever started (end of Nov), my table's been a mess! =( I don't like it. Its just in me to be like that already - laziness - I guess. Its so messy and at the same time organized. As some people would know me as... So its about time I get it cleaned and up-right again. It another school year and I've gotta get it going.

I really need to get my routine for school days coming up ready and going.

I basically spent my December holidays either @ home / the school. Because I didn't get to go out this holidays, this would be the result. As usual, if I'm at home, I've to take care of my brother and so on. Since I was "taking care" of my brother, I didn't get much work done except that I was hooked on to the computer all day. I had so many photos to sort and edit. But I was lazy. Only until now that time is running out, I've taken "time" to just get them done. So much Christmas photos taken, now its time to sort and EDIT! Another bad thing would be that my eyesight is just getting WORSE. =( Don't like the fact that computers and televisions give you radiations that causes your eyes to increase power or something.

Now that school's coming in like less than 5 days, time to pack up and get ready for the day everyone's been either waiting or regretting for. =P

Lunch

Lunch at 3pm. Cool =)

If you're sleeping in, getting up late, you'll tend to have brunch these days. Or maybe just breakfast and wait for dinner when it comes. While that, some tidbits may come in between. Cool. Just to fill your stomach while you wait for dinner to come.

Its been like that for me these couple of weeks staying home with my brother. More like a routine I'd say ? Hmm...yeah. When school starts again, it'll be waking up early at 7, lunch at 1, and dinner at 7.30. A routine that turns out mechanical later on..and that'll be 3 meals a day for me.

Just watched Dark Knight yesterday, and I was thinking how cool the Joker is.
He may seem insane and all but his methods to kill someone and be so abrupt and shocking which makes it even better in the movie.

Heath Ledger

Harvey Dent, district attorney of Gothom city, became insane later when his girlfriend died in an explosion. Dent was saved by Batman, but sadly he didn't want to be saved. The girlfriend was supposed to be saved instead of him. To sacrifice himself i guess. Unfortunately, Batman was more concerned about making sure Dent would be rescued. A promise made to the girlfriend from Batman.

Dead or Alive

Is she dead or not?

I ask this question because someone died recently of a heart attack. It was tragic. No idea how that happened but it happened. And also because my parents visited her today and came back in a jiff. That made me wonder "a trip to Malacca couldn't be so quick could it? Or did they just go to her house?" I have to accept that its true she's gone. It must be pretty serious. It was announced by word of mouth (via phone) to almost all the church members. Wow.


The reason of this post is because I really HATE funerals. They scare the heck out of me. Anyone talk about them, I'll probably just have a vague impression or imagine what happened to cause the death. Then later, think about the funeral. Where will it be? How will it be like? How she died? And so on...

To get it off my mind, I tried my best to think about something else. Alternatives such as playing music, playing some games, going online, etc. They only worked for a while. =( Gotta move on.

Christmas Festivity(s)

Since Christmas is here, all the special dinner dishes are pouring out onto the table waiting for us all to indulge peacefully. There were things like TURKEY, special cakes, yule log cake, and ham/bacon pieces.

After eating so much, I think most of our stomachs must be so full from all these delicious food. Wish they all last a little more longer. Especially when you have good food cooked from such places as hotels, restaurants (cheap/expensive). They all still taste excellent. Some can be a little off but at least they're something.

Extended families love to celebrate it together with food, carols, and most importantly - fellowship. After eating, the cousins had an idea to do something with the food we've all eaten. This is the result. Stole some decor from the food too. There was a YULE LOG!

The family celebrated Christmas, strangely, at midnight of Christmas Day! It was cool in a way. We were all up when the clock stroked 12 on the eve of Christmas. So they said "might as well open the all the presents since we're all up." It was cool that we did it at 12 am, Christmas Day.

Everyone got their individual presents and were content. Some were surprised.
For me this year, the gifts just keeps becoming less and less. But good enough for me. Knowing I'll have presents bought and unwrapped from the family. =D I got myself some pretty cool things this year. Surprisingly, I got another thumbdrive which was not really what I had expected. But it something of which I know I will take care and its not a "dislike" present. xD You know, I didn't think I will be getting a 8GB KINGSTON THUMBDRIVE! It was really a surprise. 8 GB you know. Wow!

Parents got the usual - what they would get. It was really a surprise that my own mom had got me something. It was so cool! Before I really knew she got me something, my brother kept prompting me to open it and I thought, "this couldn't possibly be for me." But it did! Turned out to be some awesome chocolates from Hershey's! They are one of some chocolate brands I love that I wish I have. They are good. =D

The fun & joy in all of this is to celebrate it with family, friends, and relatives. =) That's the greatest joy in all of this - to celebrate this wonderful holiday, Christmas. The fact that Jesus Christ was born on this day. But I think we all know that he wasn't really born on the 25th of December. It could be any other day cause it some things just don't make sense. Just some things.

Speed Racer

A movie I never thought I end up watching completely. Seriously. It looked somewhat like the Flintstones cartoon. Filled with vibrant colors, tons of action, and the feeling of anticipation. It was as if you were in the movie. I watched it on astro. So it wasn't as good as in the cinemas. Its an old show I say (not the recent ones you catch nowadays). Some parts were kinda boring. Its like you're thinking, "When is this going to end???" then you realize, "Just finish with the show la". So I sat through the show with no other channel to switch to.

As the movie got interesting, I continued to stay on. Of course I need a drink, as I was with no drink at that time, so there was a break. (I just babbled - things of which doesn't need to be mentioned) Oh well, some of the guys were cute. Before that, I was watching "Speed Racer" the cartoon. And after the movie, I realized that Racer X is actually Rex, Speed's brother who died in an accident during the race. The guy who plays X is Matthew FOX! In this particular show, he was good. Looking all smart and trimmed. xD Short hair suits him.

These 2 guys play Rex. Racer X changed his identity. Didn't want his family to worry about him. Some thought he faked his death. Which he did. Then when the truth came out, no one still don't know its HIM. But that's the lie X will have to live with for the rest of his life.

Being a Chef?

I'm enjoying cooking for my brother this holidays xD

I cannot believe that what I've been cooking has tasted GREAT!

Wait! I still can't cook an egg.
A simple...fried egg pun tak boleh. sigh..
What am I gonna do??

At least my maggi mee still taste good. Some malaysian food I'm able to cook, at least. =P

Always Be My Baby

Being able to own this camera has been a great privilege. =D
Its given me the capability to use things which I've never thought of doing.
Listening to advices/reading about about photography has given the instinct to prepare for necessary item during the take of such awesome photos!

With this camera...

I can expand my depth about photography, for leisure purposes of course, to a wider range. xD The journey begins here. When I first got it, It took a little getting used to. Then, I slowly mastered its functions. Now its pretty easy except that I still get confused on certain parts. Stay with me yeah. =)

There's "acquaintance, friend, close friend, and best of friends" kind.
What more?

From these, we have friends either from school, church, ex-classmates, and cousins who are these. There are just so many. How do we handle?

Having too many of these kinda friends is a good thing when holidays are around.
They keep you OCCUPIED. Going to the same place a couple of times in a month can be a bore, even with friends around to hangout with, but going to various places, exploring new things and just developing a sense of friendship among yourselves can take up memories of which will missed.

Not having these kind of friends in your life can end up in misery/utter boredom.
Just hanging around with the family, being with siblings, and etc. And you're pretty much AVAILABLE. Hobbies are one thing. They keep you occupied. But its probably not enough.

Is there any problem with having a lack of friends? It all really depends on which circle of friends you join. More than one clique can end up in good or bad situations. But I bet most of the time its a good sign. =) With the wrong group can end up in bad situations too. It all really depends.

Big Yummy Dinner

Took the train downtown to the heart of KL. There were jams almost EVERYWHERE. Just to drive down to the train station there was a challenge. sigh..
But before that I had some awesome food!

Delicious food had me going for more.
There were some good stuff like... SALMON (raw & smoked), CHEESE (Brie), BREAD (small one) & Häagen-Dazs!! Some awesome stuff.. There was strawberry, lemon sorbet, mocha, chocolate, etc. Among those I've tasted, strawberry and vanilla are the best! =D

After eating so much, I just had to walk around. Saw some cute Christmas trees decorated.



On the way back, the jam was massive human traffic was ridonculous. Just look at that..

I think I've got a brief idea what my daily routine's gonna be. For the rest of the holidays of which I'll stay home with my brother.

• I'll stay at home
• Hooked up on the computer
• If there's laundry, maybe take 2 hr so to realize that there's laundry to do
• Make breakfast & lunch
• Watch some Chuck or Heroes. I REALLY want How I Met Your Mother season 5!

Then wait till I'm done with my brother. =P

Sometimes, I've just had about up to here (*cut the neck) with him. He really gets on my nerves that there's a feeling or gut to make him just shut up. Don't you just wish that you could have a sibling as good as an angel? Just sit there looking all charming-ly attentive to every word you say that you think he/she is like a robot following every order you commanded him/her to? hahaha. Yeah. Bet you did, but you wouldn't enjoy the fun they would involuntarily put or give you in your life. That's the only thing robots don't have - Emotions. =)

So make do with what you have.

FACEBOOK vs. FRIENDSTER

Friendster is seriously DEAD...for most of us (my social line).
We use facebook more than friendster these days.
Ask yourself that. Isn't it? Yeah.

From what I can see, Friendster is another Facebook.
But Facebook is definitely better; in terms of layout, color, design, etc.
Both from different companies and originated from different countries.
I cannot help but just put my opinion of how I see these 2 here.
As you can clearly see for yourself, Facebook tends to grow more than Friendster.
More people are seeking towards FB than Friendster.
Although Friendster may have come from Australia and Facebook is the popular one that comes from U.S., its still in competition against other social networking websites.
I'll just stop here as this is a the decision you should make for yourself.
