Had wonderful dinner last night!

The thing about family reunions are reuniting with your other relatives in the extended family. It takes a little while for the rest of us to really start talking. Adults will always be adults who'll just start talking almost immediately either about work, school of children, life, and blah..blah..blah. Kids will either keep quiet (quiet ones) or start interacting like my brother (high ones).

So this reunion was to celebrate my grandma's birthday. It was quite a big group I'd say. 22 of us ALL. That's a lot for a gathering in a small home-business house. The place charged good man - cheap. But the food (CRAB) was awesome!! Bet everyone ENJOYED it. Its from the sea. Good eh?

After all the eating, had a break from the food and was ready to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. =) Photo taking itself took so long. First the camera died, then using handphones to take, then the camera than died suddenly revived. Wow...
THEN only the candles were blown out and the cake was FINALLY cut. =D
DURIAN cake baby! Awesome durian cake!! Had 2 pieces and that was it for me. Most people would take 2 pieces MAX. And that was it. Cream was good too. =D Gosh! Talking about it already makes it SO mouth-watering!! I want to take some home!

So you know how after cake eating there'll be like a moment of where adults talk and kids just play around. But you know, how we (teenagers) suppose to "play"? We not "kids" anymore. So we played with food! =P

Books & Food

Last Friday, the family went to a "Big Bad Wolf" book sale. Don't know why its called that, but books there were alright - cheap. They had books for whatever kind. From oldies -> toddlers. =)

Bought a ton of books. Parents found some interesting books that blew their minds out. I didn't really get what I was looking for, but it was something interesting indeed. Haven't got the time to read 'em yet. Time will reveal itself to me. Sooner or later...
Gotta start reading man. I'm becoming more and more hooked on to the computer. Its a very BAD sign. Eyes are failing me too. =(

So, it was getting late already. Time for DINNER! =D
All the way in SS3, there lay a place none of us knew about.
Some awesome western food. Very reasonable and good food! A place to recommend man.
Sadly, I've no idea where in SS3 it is, but its near my pediatrician's clinic. That guy was a good man. Elderly already. But he was one of whom I could remember during my childhood days. Great man. Loved playing with the toys outside his office. As I grew older, I still played with them. Must mean, it was FUN playing with them.

Just realized, SS3 is pretty a big area and common for some big bungalow houses.
Isn't it? Some pretty big houses there. But there is one thing that I dislike...confusing roads that probably lead you in circles. That annoying and frustrating if you don't know where you're headed.

Weekends

I realized that the weekends are the busiest time of our lives...as students.
They're where we get the most things going on during the DAY and NIGHT.
So many things go on from morning till night.
So many events..
So many people..
So little time..
So many good times too.

Now that its over, don't you just wish it'd last longer? I know I's wish it would.
So that it didn't have to come to another week starting with Monday.
Imagine. The whole week, from Monday to Friday, is just gonna be a repeat of what you do every single day. Like school, like work too.
Too bad its over now. Until the next weekend.

Went shopping early (okay, maybe not so early. but early for a school holiday) with mom.
Managed to get some things done =) Check.

But she cooled it off quickly. =D

Just went out. Finally!

Went around looking to fix the family's camera and other SALES!
Its so cool when sales are around this time of the year. =D
So many things to see and BUY! Discounts! Promotions!

I believe this holidays, I'm gonna get some new things alright..

I spent my day (public holiday somemore) cleaning my room (2 hrs) and surfing the net finding new songs to play (1 hr)
Another time playing squash with family (45mins) and shower ( 25mins) Woke up late too.
Had awesome pancakes for breakfast! Yum.. =D
That filled me up well. For the day at least.

So I wasted my morning/afternoon on the net with nothing to do.
Went on facebook, and checked emails.
Wasted more time feeling like I've got nothing better to do.. =(

Christmas already?

Seen any Christmas trees around you lately?

They're all over the place nowadays. You turn the corner, you see one.
You turn the other corner, you see ANOTHER one.
See how many there are coming up nowadays. Too bad, the family can't afford to put one up this Christmas. Probably. Filled with toys.. =(

I was traveling along the highway, and I suddenly saw a guy shaking his ass (dance way). So wished I could've erased that from my memory. Ugh. Horrible.

So, went to the mall, saw so many SALES!!!
Got an awesome shirt yesterday. Hope it'll still fit me later in the future. =P
I so need a white shirt (ordinary one, not too ugly like chinaman) and a really neat overcoat or something. And a VEST!!!

Heard a lot about New Moon yesterday. A number of radio stations were talking about "what's this whole thing about Team Edward and Team Jacob?" I find it very contemplating. There's so much to talk about (just that topic itself). And the premiere of New Moon was airing on E! the cast and other members, "which side are you on?" kind of thing. hahaa. So what is going on? Which side are YOU on?

1st Day of Holidays

Went to school.
Watched the awards nite dvd. kinda funny when you fast forward it at 1.4x.

I think I'm vain in clothes. I mean you must know what's appropriate to wear, and what not to wear. LOAD FB!!! (sorry, photos loading now) Anyway, I think I looked good today.

My phone started failing me this week. Fudge it.
It was so annoying to text and call. Especially when there's so much going on the last week of school.

I feel so bad for using other people's phone to do something. Its not like I'm out of credit or what. My phone just sucked that time. The problem was the "ribbon"? Anyway, that thing for most slide phones cost like RM80-100. I definitely got it cheaper since my bro now has my NOKIA.

Its so troublesome la. Transfer files here and there. Wish they'd all just work for a lifetime or something.

Last Day of School '09

Sad man. Another holiday season (6 weeks) of "I-have-no-idea-what-to-do" mindset. =(
If I'd to compare the last day of school '08 and this year, '08 was so much better.

2008

1. Took LOADS of pictures
2. Started off with a game of UNO till it was like 11+
3. Watched Sweeney Todd (got Julian's hard drive)
4. Got a caterer with some good food for the first time. Guess everyone was excited about that.

2009

1. Cannot believe everyone was out playing games like scavengers for fun

It was all so sudden. This was how it all went..

First, dad asked me if I wanna go.
Then, asked Michelle, Vic, and Sheryl so that I don't feel alone.
Since Michelle was the middle person, she got her contacts and soon made 10 people to come! This was all set up by the power of telecommunication inventions! What a world we live in today.. =D

When everyone arrived, we had last minute extra 3 more people coming.
Another wait for the others..

When we reached there, we had to wait about another half hour for SOR folks. They're so near by and yet take so long to reach.


Game Time.
We had our disgusting, smelly, and oily gears that were essential to us so that we won't get hurt or anything. Safety precautions. Everyone was so complaining about it.

1st round: getting used to the system. (SOR won)
2nd round: More serious (PJ won) So tigh.
Then came 3rd round (last man standing) : PJ!
PJ still the best man! Always a winner.

Everyone was so tired. My legs were failing me. Shooting was cool. The bullets had vegetable oil in them that soaked part of my hair for the whole day. Felt disgusting. Everytime I touch it, it disgusts me. The "markers" or guns were heavy. Gave me leg failing system. ahah. Too bad we played with only one field.

Had McDonald's for lunch. Better than auntie's food at least. ahaha.

I feel so bad for leaving my dad to have lunch alone. Think my friends understand why. C'mon, I need to have my time with my friends right? You're a big boy, who can handle yourself. Sorry.

Okay, its been a tiring day. Gotta sleep...okay not really. But just tired from today.

The guys played MAFIA after lunch.

Teachers were not bothered anymore man.

PJ's Awards Night

I totally had no idea what was going half the time and I was practically busy myself.
So, here's how I'll start..

The minute I got to the hall, I was busily looking for Julian for the COMPUTER!
I had tons to do there. But I can tell you, most of the things of which I intended to do/use, were not. How annoying right?! So too bad la. All my hard work gone. =(
Fortunately, Jasmine made use of my slides. =)

Apparently, there were a lot of delays in between different scenes. I can tell its a bad thing. For one thing, it kept the audience waiting (which keeps people restless), and makes people bored since they don't see anything. haha. True isn't it? sigh..

There's just one thing I don't get when I hand over my dad the camera.
I mean, once I hand it to him, he's like suppose to know what I want to do with it. But the thing is, he doesn't know what I actually want! Which is sssssoooooo annoying. At least he got the India scene (video). Not just the dance though..the WHOLE SCENE! Took up almost all of the memory in the camera. Need new CAMERA!!!!

Immediately after the play, we were such in a rush I couldn't think man. Running up and down, here and there. Jasmine la! Grr! So many things to do just cause I'm the techy. I should earn something in return..

Sad la. This year, there wasn't much photos taken BEFORE the whole night started. =(
Everyone's so busy with preparing for this and that..and we got so delayed. Wonder what's the hold up??

After the whole event, everyone decided to go to Curve for a BREAK! Kind of an after party thing. It was cool. Its kinda predictable that no matter what, with a lot of people, some of us will eventually break up into groups. For this night, there was the popular - rich & the popular - middle class. *sorry, don't know how to classify But unfortunately, there certainly were these groups. TGI's for the luxuriuos; and IKEA foodcourt for the affordable. Later they decided to get drunk, went to Laundry's and they drank beer. People started to leave at about 11.30pm. Sad..still felt it was still early. haha.

There was a funny moment though.
Sheryl and I were trying to book tickets for 2012 since I couldn't get it in the morning. So as I tried calling, we were so carried away by the phone call that we lost the others. We decided to stop near the escalators to be on the safe side and wait for the others. When we were done, we were like, "Oh shit! I think we lost the others." Sheryl called the others and here's how the conversation went like.. *dialogue from Sheryl's blog.

"Our group went to search at Tony Roma's while they searched TGI's. I then called Summer telling we have a place but she told me they already got a table. We had to walk all the way and somehow me and Melissa were trying to book the the tickets for 2012.

Me and Mel kinda separated from the others. :S

Mel: I cant book the tickets, i already tried. Even online

Sheryl: Can one, try one more time.

Mel: Fine i'll try again but i tell you cannot one.

(Starting calling GSC)

Machine: For 1 Utama press 1, for Mid Valley Press 2, for....

Then we finally booked the seats! But just realized that we were facing the wall beside the moving stairs with our backs to the outside XD Then began laughing!

Sheryl: Omg i think we're lost

Mel: Yeap... we're lost.

Then we decided to walk to Chocolate Fudge.

Sheryl: Uh.. wait let me call Lisa.

Lisa: Hello?

Kayjen took over: Hello? Erm whos this?

Sheryl: Sorry whos this?

Kayjen: This is Kayjen whos this?

Sheryl: Oh Sheryl, er where are you guys?

Kayjen: We're at TGI'S

Sheryl: Can you tell us where to go?

Unfortunately, it wasn't my choice.

But I loved the way the guy dancers were moving man.

Awesome moves.

The upbeat music of MJ were of most exciting to me.

I could fall asleep during the slow songs of MJ's. Literally.

"Thriller" was not bad. Even though it looked scary.

Wasn't really actually.

Loved "Beat It", "Smooth Criminal", "Billie Jean", and some others that interested me.

Really sounded like 80's music man. I know its 80's music, think I have a variety of music that ranges from so long ago to today's music.

Went home, here, then sleep.

29th October

Brother lost his first tooth.

How awesome is that? haha.

He was so panicky about it.

"What if it falls out while I'm eating?"

Which was what he was complaining the whole day and pretty much didn't eat a lot either.

So, you can expect these kind of things when you have a 6-year old kid.

Ipoh/Penang

I had a rather short break towards the end of October.

From the 24th - 27th, went up to Ipoh first; then Penang.

may look retarded but its funny xD

Ipoh was boring. Visited a friend of my aunt's.

At least, we got to accommodate at free place. No charge.

Day 1

Knowing how aunties are, it wasn't an enjoyable one.

Chicken Rice for Dinner... pretty decent food at least.
Was feeling kinda full after tea. Think it was high tea instead.

Time to head to the island.

But first, we needed a bite.
I gotta say this mall was cool. Its a 1u in Penang. =P I like it there.

The movie was ridiculous. Not what I had expected. I know its about food, but could I say it may have been a little too much. After watching food fall out from the sky, and me wondering if its clean to eat, I felt like my appetite had just went down the drain. I longer felt hungry. But how to? Its Penang food we're gonna eat. So eat man.

I got to Penang and eat some DELICIOUS food!

The food was AWESOME!!! I want more! Can't get any in KL man. Darn it. =(

So now, I finally got to taste the awsomeness of the Asam Laksa!!! The BEST!

Time to visit the famous Penang Hill. The front was a good background. Good picture.

I don't look very pleasant here. =( the sun's glare was in my eyes. Too bad no sunglasses man. But it looks alright, right?
